Seaweed Ionic Clay Mask Review | Beauty

Hello Lovelies,

Its come to my attention that i haven't done hardly any reviews on this blog, and i feel like that is an essential for beauty bloggers - right?! So, now that i have come across this amazing product, i just had to share it with you.

As a vegan and a beauty lover, it is not surprising that i am a lover of 'The Body Shop.' Their strict no animal testing policy, and sensitive skin ranges are extremely appealing to me, and there is fabulous choice for transitioning vegans. There are wide varieties of natural ingredients used, and they are ethically sourced (or so i believe) - win!

Almost every time i find myself in The Body Shop, i am always eyeing up this face mask, but never quite willing to spend the steep price.

I am no expert in prices of face masks, but for me £13.00 was more than i would want to pay for a face mask that may not even work, but with the shops's recent 40% off offers this may have slipped in my basket!!

The instructions say to apply a thin layer and to leave on for 10 minutes after this time you can rinse using warm water.

I was pleasantly surprised at how fast the mask dried once on the face, meaning that there was no chance of wet clay everywhere. Also, as the mask dried, i did not find any painful tightening of the skin, and no burning sensations (as i have previously experienced) - instead my skin felt like it was being pampered and soothed during those crucial 10 minutes.

The mask claims to purify, cleanse and control excess oil which, with oily, blackhead prone skin is exactly what i need. The ladies in the store have previously reassured me that none of their products will bring underlying spots to the surface - so i am keeping my fingers crossed!

After the 10 minutes, i looked in the mirror ready to rinse it off and well, i was horrified! It appeared as though every pore on my face created a sink whole in the mask, and well i was a polka-dot-clay-faced mess!! But, to my relief, as i removed the mask, i also removed almost every blackhead from my face, and any dirt that has clogged my pores.

The result: A clean, smooth, blackhead free face - hallelujah!

I am so impressed with this product, there is a pleasant smell, a smooth texture, an easy application and great results. Furthermore, i think i will gain many uses out of this 100ml pot, as you hardly need to use much at all. This has persuaded me to try more clay face masks in the future - and i will update you as to whether this mask breaks me out in spots or not!

Thanks for reading!!

Let me know if you found this review useful, and i'll make sure to do more in the future!
Also - drop me an email if their are any other products that you would like me to review :)

A New Addiction | Beauty

Hello Lovelies,

I am a make up lover, and i am quite happy to admit that i spend waay too much money on eyeshadows - but one thing i have never been is a lipstick lover. I never saw the appeal, any lip product i ever tried rubbed off in like 10 minutes, and looked horrific. But now, i feel like i have been missing out on the wonderful world and range of lip products!! I wouldn't say i am obsessed, although, i think it's safe to say that i will not pass up an opportunity to put on a coloured lip!

These are some of my favourites at the moment:

Sleek: Vamp

Rimmel Kate Moss: 03

Accessorize: Obsessed, Smitten

M.A.C: Russian Red

Accessorize: Allure & Tanya Burr: Vampire Kiss

I'm sure this list will continue growing, but that is all for now :)

Thanks for reading!!

A Little Update//I'm Sorry... | Lifestyle

Hello Lovelies,

I feel like i owe it to anyone (even if it's only a few people) who watch my videos and read my blog, to explain what has been going on with me!! My videos have slowly been decreasing in quality, and my blog posts are virtually non-existent. I don't want this post to be a list of excuses, but i want it to be a bit of explaining.

I love making videos... I love filming, i love editing, i love seeing views slowly increase and i love hearing your feedback. I feel like everyone around me has been so supportive, and positive about my videos, and my blog - honestly, it's a little overwhelming. Okay, i could be a tad dramatic saying having 200 subscribers is 'overwhelming' but still... those subscribers are viewers, who i would like to share great content with, but sometimes that's a bit difficult.

For me personally, youtube and blogging is a hobby, that has to come second to my part time job and college. Now let me explain: a video can take anywhere from 5hours to 20hours to complete... pair this with being at college 5 days a week, and working 2 days a week, it's kind of difficult to keep on top of. Then add on a blog post a week, and 2hours of college work (per subject???!!) And don't even get me started on trying to maintain a social life! I put all this pressure on myself because that's what i want to do, and i am not complaining because it is 100% my choice; but that doesn't make it any less stressful.

I think it is important for me to focus on the quality of what i am uploading and writing, because otherwise whats the point?? I am not happy with posting a blog post where i've taken photo's in two minutes with bad lighting; and i don't want to create a video i am not excited about editing and making - where is the enjoyment in that?!

Now, there is no way i will be quitting youtube and my blog anytime soon, and i am going to try super duper hard to get content out every week, but sometimes that may not be possible - and that's okay right??

... I may have lost my point somewhere in this post; but basically i am sorry that i am not being as consistent as i should be, and i want to try and post as much and as often as i can - but sometimes that is just a bit difficult.

Thank you for putting up with my moaaaaning!!

Zoella Beauty | Beauty

Hello Lovelies,

As you may already know, one of my favourite youtubers Zoella(Zoe) recently launched her very own range of beauty/pamper products - and i wasted no time placing an order on feel unique, to see what i could get my hands on!

I umm-ed and arr-ed  about whether i should order everything, but unfortunately some of the products had already sold out, so i settled on my 3 favourite items. You can see my first impressions and reactions to these products here.

Guinea Pig Beauty Bag

This bag is the perfect size to fit all of your make up essentials, or to use as a wash bag for trips away. I am in LOVE with the polka dots, and the colour of the zip (that's not weird right??) And of course, there is a guinea pig on it!! I have had guinea pigs since i was 3 years old, so this is the perfect touch for me.

Being the sensitive skinned girl i am, i am always hesitant about buying body products, with the fear of being a blotchy mess the hour after use, so i have been pleasantly surprised with this lotion. I have (fingers crossed) had no reactions, and have been kept lovely smelling and moisturised up with this. I can't promise this will replace the delight of the 'Soap and Glory Sugar Crush' body butter, but it is a pretty good second.

I would go as far to say this is one of my favourite fragrances ever. I have been using this everyday, and absolutely loving it. If you can't get to your local superdrug to smell this, i would 100% still order it... and hope we have similar sense of smell!! Also, the packaging on this is second to none.. polka dots and red, i think Zoe understands me.

I would like to say a huge congratulations to Zoe for such a successful launch, and such fabulous products! Also, recently Zoe has been in Vogue... every girls dream hey?? I feel so privileged to watch such a lovely, down to earth girl every day, and see her at the very top of her game. I think Zoe is such a lovely role model for all girls out there.

September Heatwave | Fashion

 Hello Lovelies,

Autumn/Winter trends seem to already be upon us, and i am already buying coats to keep warm - but it is still warm!! Of course, the UK weather has bought a heatwave, and i am certainly not complaining, as i am a self-confessed high waist shorts and crop top lover.

So recently when Celeb Look contacted me, i was very over excited when i spotted this co-ord, as i've wanted to get one all summer!

Arm Band - Vintage

I paired this tropical print co-ord with bold black boots and belt, to make a slightly edgier, more autumnal look. For the colder days, a pastel pink fluffy coat compliments this perfectly, whilst keeping you toasty warm.

Thank you for reading!!

& A big thank you to Celeb Look!

It's The Little Things... | Lifestyle

Hello Lovelies,

Summer is coming to an end, soon the days of college will upon me, and no doubt i will get a bit grumpy. I think it is really important to remember all of the little happy things during these dreary times, and really appreciate what i have. It is so easy to get caught up in day-to-day life, and just sitting around online, that we forget the little things.

These are a few little things that i, personally appreciate:

-My Dogs: These little bundles of joy are always happy to see me, and always give me love when i need it most. I am convinced these babies were humans in a past life.

-My Garden Friends: These lovely little visitors are always welcome in our garden, and it is such a treasure to have foxes, hedgehogs, birds and (even deer!) on my doorstep.

-The Sunset: It is becoming a hobby of mine to hang out my bedroom window, to admire the wonderful oranges, reds and pinks emitting from the sky.

-My Body: I have neglected and hated for too long, but once you give a little love - boy does it reward you!! Living a fully vegan diet and doing yoga every day has left me feeling phenomenal.

-My Family: Although this is obvious, i am so lucky to have amazing and supportive people so close to me.

Thanks for reading!
Let me know what little things your grateful for, and keep spreading love!
